PHILIP JOBE – Chairman

Mr Phil Jobe is Managing Director of Blue Circle Southern Cement Limited (BCSC), having been appointed to the position in October 1999. Phil joined Blue Circle Southern Cement from Boral, where he was Regional General Manager of Construction Materials. Prior to joining Boral, Mr Jobe worked for 16 years with the Stegbar Group, holding various positions including seven years as Managing Director.

MARK CHELLEW – Director

Mr Mark Chellew is Managing Director of Adelaide Brighton Limited (ABL), having been appointed to the position in September 2001. Mark has over 20 years experience in the heavy building materials and related industries, gained in Australia and the United Kingdom. Mr Chellew joined Adelaide Brighton after 18 months as Managing Director of the UK based Blue Circle Cement which is part of the Lafarge Group, the world’s largest cement manufacturer.

CHRIS LEON – Director

Mr Chris Leon is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cement Australia Pty Ltd and was appointed to the position on 1 June 2003 Chris joined Cement Australia from fertiliser producer Pivot Limited where he had been Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for the past 12 months.
Prior to joining Pivot, Mr Leon was Managing Director of York International Australia, a heating, ventilation and airconditioning business.
